LaClare Farms Martone

Price: $9.99

Martone is part cow/part goat milk, ash covered cheese with a mild, fresh sweet beginning, finished with a pleasing tang.  This cheese is a great table cheese with fruit, crackers or a light beer.

Martone is inspired by the grandfather, Martin Kozlowski, of Clara Hedrich, owner of LaClare Farms.  Clara's grandfather was the first generation Kozlowski to settle in northern Wisconsin and begin dairy farming.  As a child, growing up on a traditional dairy cow farm in northern Wisconsin, Clara, developed a deep passion for the agricultural industry.  Through the values and passion instilled in her during her childhood, she was the first of her family to attend college.  Being one of the first females to graduate as an Agriculture teacher in Wisconsin from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, she has been able to share her passion with thousands of students, during her 39 years of teaching.
